A blast resistant door, also called a blast proof door or explosion resistant door, is an engineered door assembly, leaf, frame, and hardware tested together, designed to withstand a specific peak reflected overpressure and impulse without failing, while often also carrying a fire rating so it protects against both the blast and the fire that frequently follows it. EHS managers, project engineers, and procurement teams at petrochemical plants, refineries, power plants, military facilities, and high-security sites in India who are specifying blast resistant door systems, comparing manufacturers, or replacing a door that failed an inspection or audit.
